"I remember your name perfectly, but I just can't think of your face." Despite rumors to the contrary, this was not said by a classmate at our 60th. It was more
likely said by William Archibald Spooner, possibly at his 60th reunion at Oxford.

Cal Fisher's card says "Hello, Joe." Signed, "Cal." Beneath he writes, "Didn't want you to feel neglected." Thanks for remembering, Cal.
Bill Shaw says he enjoyed the 60th and thanks the committee and the young assistants. He and Ruth were glad so many were there and send their best wishes to all.
Warren Hallamore, who formerly spent summers in Ireland, has returned from a visit there after an absence of ten years. He now finds many changes, indicating a more prosperous country. He reminds us that Handyand Dawn Auten return to Ireland annually.
Irv and Ruth Kramer enjoyed the reunion R&R at the Topnotch Inn at Stowe with the Walsers, Aliens, Acherbergs, and JohnWeissenflah.
Class President Dick Olmsted and Mary had an exciting trip in the Orient. They cruised from Korea to Vladivostok, down the China coast, then traveled by land to Beijing. They rejoined the cruise and had it interrupted by a fire (while they were ashore), resulting in cancellation of the last part of their trip. However, with charter planes, land tours, and fine hotels, they completed the tour. For their inconvenience, Dick writes, "The Pearl Line refunded 100 percent of the passage and expenses. We are reinvesting it in a trip with them to Antarctica in December."
We note with sadness the loss of two classmates. John Leavitt Merrill of Townsend, Mass., died May 14; and Harris BradburyBurrows passed away on June 11 in La Jolla, Calif. Obituaries will be in future issues.
