Short and sweet this month. Ray Clark continues to live in the Upper Valley and restore buildings. Ray started by restoring old homes just tor himself but the demand to do so for others led him to form his company, Recreate. The woodworking shop at Recreate is ancillary to the company's work as a contractor and takes on outside jobs. Their latest creations are pews for St. Martin's Episcopal Church in Fairlee, Vt.
Real news being in short supply, I ask the question: Does anybody out there think Al Sloane looks like actor/comedian/rapper Will Smith? The real reason I ask is to light a fire under Al so that he will write with something interesting about his life. I might note that this ploy never works with Jon Swenson.
News of our class project should be reaching you soon. Details, however, are best dealt with in a separate letter from Norm Jacobs. I will say that we think it is a great idea and the five classmates who have put this together are hoping for overwhelming support from the rest of you. We will have a lengthy discussion/explanation at our class meeting on Saturday morning prior to the Homecoming game. Following the meeting, there will be a pregame party on the Heorot (Chi Phi) lawn. This all takes place the weekend of October 31-November 1.
