"'73 Coming Together in 1998" that's June 18-22 for planning purposes, when our class celebrates its quarter century reunion. Visualize yourself in Hanover. Commit early to going. Carry out your plan. End of Reunion pep talk. Just do it.
Mike Bell has been named leader of Mobil Exploration & Producing U.S. Inc.'s Deep Water Gulf of Mexico Business Unit. He is a geophysicist with a M.S. in geology from Cornell. Prior to joining Mobil in New Orleans, Mike worked on the exploration side of the industry for Texaco and for BP in places like Denver, Houston, and Aberdeen, Scoland.
Dave Garver is an anesthesiologist in Malibu, Calif., where he lives with his spouse, Constance Haddad, a nurse-midwife. Dave reports that Paul Nichol lives in Bellevue, Wash., and is the chief of staff of the Seattle Veterans Administration Hospital. Dave would like to hear from former Wig roommates Roy Davis, GaryLevine, and Hervey Hauser.

Todd Keiller has a health-care consulting practice focusing on licensing early stage technology from academia into industry. He works his Tuck degree doing business development for a home care company. Todd, wife Diane, Jaime (17), and Chelsea (12) live in Hopkinton, Mass. Todd coaches Jaime's girls' Softball team. Wife Diane, a nurse, is helping senior Jaime find the right college.
Bob Ryan writes that he bought a house he found on the Internet that he describes as "a virtual house he virtually lives in." Nothing virtual about those Los Angeles, Calif, mortgage payments, I'll bet. He's doing some promotional work for the Fox Channel, a few commercials, another episode of Night Stand with Dick Dietrich, and roles in a couple of plays. Nothing like a mortgage to keep an actor focused on working. Bob is preparing for a role in Thornton Wilder's The Matchmaker (on which Hello,Dolly is based). Recently a contestant on a new game show, Win Ben Stein's Money on Comedy Central, Bob says the game show demonstrated "a lifetime of accumulating useless information finally paid off."
Did anyone else see Jim Metzler on a summer rerun episode of J.A.G., where he plays a rival naval J.A.G. officer to the main character, Lieutenant Commander "Harm" Rabb? When I asked Bob Ryan, he said it was likely since Jim, whom Bob sees occasionally at auditions, is doing well in Hollywood.
Howard Reiss is a parttime lawyer and a fulltime writer in Valley Cottage, N.Y. He's writing novels (not about the law), has an agent, and "hopes to be published before the printed word disappears." He's married to Helen, a teacher, and has been "very happy to repeat third grade for the past 22 years." The older of Howard's two daughters, Shira, is a member of the class of 2001 at Dartmouth.
Frank Walker is in Atlanta, where he runs Auto Com, his automotive industry marketing consulting business from his home. His clients include MCI, which administers the Georgia enhanced emissions inspection program. Frank does marketing materials for one non-automotive client, the UniverSoul Circus, a national touring circus featuring minority performers from around the world. Frank's been married 20 years to wife Angela. They have two daughters, Veronica and Tina, who is a first-year student at Florida A&M School of Engineering.
