Good old Joe Boldt reports further on results of his reunion questionnaire which many of us answered in June. To the question "how much do you drink?" 32 said one or two drinks a day. None reported more than that. Ten don't drink at all. (One of these attached a "rarely" qualifier.) One said once a week. Three reported "only weekends," and one of these was another "rarely." We begged Joe to tell us about his work. He said he continues to serve as a freelance writer to any qualified takers. When called, he works for Yankelovich Partners, one of the country's most prestigious research and polling firms, and is a member of Yankelovich's "Senior Council." This is a group of mostly retired people who conduct the company's telephone studies, seeking through questionnaires the thoughts of persons whose careers are greatly varied and whose opinions are bonafide. The Nightly Business Report, seen weekday evenings on PBS, uses such a survey.

Gladys Tucker, Morrison's widow, reminds us that Isaac Patch (Delage Farm Road, Franconia, NH 03580) is writing a book about Howie Sargeant, and would appreciate stories, comments, and incidents about him. And yours truly, JYR, would welcome any news about anyone. Meanwhile, we're off to Iberia to joust with windmills, and see if the rain is mainly on the plain.
