Did you know that Robert Frost's 65 th Dartmouth reunion year was 1961, the year he read poetry at JFK's inauguration? Did you know he wanted to go to Harvard, but his grandfather, who would be paying the bills, said Harvard students were too rowdy, and sent him to Dartmouth? This was a mistake as there was no difference in the conduct of young men in Hanover from those in Cambridge, and young Frost soon found himself engaged in ungendemanly behavior.

Harold Sack, an outstanding authority on American furniture, has written a book, American Treasure Hunt. He tells interesting ing stories of searching for valuable antiques and stories of famous collectors such as Henry Ford, Jackie Kennedy, the Rockefellers, and the DuPonts. Hal's company has provided furniture for the White House, the State Department, Williamsburg, Winterthur, and many of the world's great museums. Don Allen spent two years in Indonesia and learned there was no Indonesian-English science dictionary. After several years of work and overcoming roadblocks, he and a co-worker succeeded in having one published, and recently has been presented with a new edition of this dictionary.

Bob Reinhardt, our hard-working treasurer for our BIG 65th, tells us all is going well for the Reunion and he is hoping for an attendance of 70. Dining with Helene and Bob at their Venice, Fla., home when I called was AI Zinggeler. His wife, Macie, had died two weeks earlier. We expressed our condolences for the class. Al will not attend the Reunion, but sends greetings to all. Bob and Helene several weeks earlier had met by chance at a restaurant Bob and Margaret Eames, and they had a fine visit.

We talked with Bob Dickey, whose spirits are upbeat, even though he is mostly confined to his room for health reasons at Maria Joseph Manor, 875 Montour Blvd., Danville, PA 17821; (717) 275-9684. Cal Fischer's cardiac and peripheral neuritis symptoms limit him considerably, but his interest and enthusiasm persists and he hopes he can get to the Reunion. He lives at: 1915 Tesla Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80909; (719) 591-6922.
