Guide Culver Modlsette '50 led a team of nine alums on a canoe expedition on the VJSheenjek River in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. The group covered about 500 miles by canoe in their 21 days in the bush, finishing in Fort Yukon, Alaska. Explorers included (front, from left) Jack Mykrantz '52, Glenn Fitkin '50,Walker Weed '40.
