Jack "Jet" Thomas and the 25th Reunion giving committee will be in touch with us soon for a pledge toward the 1999 Alumni Fund.

Congratulations and muchas gracias a Chris "Chief' Pfaff for yet another heroic effort as head agent. Chris was able to achieve a '74 participation rate of 45 percent.

Catherine and Rick Ranger are headed for points south after an extended stay in Anchorage. Rick writes: "A couple of weeks ago I accepted a new position with ARCO Marines Long Beach office as manager, operational integrity, the group that oversees AMI's safety, quality, emergency preparedness, and regulatory affairs functions. This new job is humbling, both a blessing and a challenge. I'll be working with a group of talented professionals in a role that is central to the performance measures by which we measure operational success. It's an endorsement of what I've been able to contribute to AMI over the past three years. I'm thrilled about it." Congratulations, Rangers, and welcome back south. I'm sure I'll see you in Annapolis soon.

Speaking of oil and gas, received a short article from the May '98 copy of Hart's Oil & Gas World showcasing Bob Stevenson, who is the current president of Geo Graphix. Armed with his Dartmouth degrees in engineering and business administration, Bob has parlayed his Kiewit skills into one of the leading PC-based software companies in the industry. Geo Graphix' SiesVision product creates 3-D visualizations of seismic faults. I have Bob and Debbie as living in Littleton, Colo.

Abdo "Art" Yazgi continues to update connected Sigma Nus with the latest breaking news from Washington. If you have any important "inside" information, please send to me, and I will be sure that he gets this for his electronic newsletter. By the way, Abdo, I'm putting you, Randy "Tex" Barnett, and Mark "Killer" Kilbride in charge of the Card Games Committee for the 25th.

I will attended my first class officers Leadership Weekend' in September. This was quite a new experience for me, and I learned more about the inner workings of the College, especially with new President Jim Wright, now at the helm.
