While wailking alone along the bottom of the Grand Can yon, John Elliott '86 got to thinking about the high-tech possibilities of advehture. "Not having seen another periSh in over 24 hours. "I began to wonder whether there was a comprehensive site on the web with information about the top outfitters and schools that could introduce or lead people in the outdoors or in 'adventure' sprays."

A search of the web turned up nothing he liked, so Elliott set out to build his own dream site. .
