Follow-up Down-Hill Edge

David Vielel '98, whose comeback from injuries last year was chronicled in our March issue's article "A Passion for Speed," won the NCAA title in the giant slalom held this winter in Bozeman, Montana. Andrew Pennock '99, Viele's roommate, earned All-America honors for his tenth-place finish in the slalom. Dartmouth finished seventh overall, losing to eventual champion Colorado.
