The Whiting Foundation has awarded a grant to biology professor and dean of graduate studies Roger Sloboda in support of study this summer at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, Massachusetts. The professor's field of study: the cellular components called microtubules, which are essential for chromosomal separation during cell division.
