It has been said that only one other place in the world rivals the brilliance of New England foliage. That region is in northern India.
We salute the lives and the memories of four more departed classmates. JamesCowles Conant died on June 2 of this year, survived by a daughter and grandchildren. One grandchild is a Dartmouth alumna.
Richard Sagendorph's life ended on May 2, 1999.
Kier Boyd died in Clinton, Md., on July 7, 1999.
Although the date and place of his death have not been reported to us, we have received word that the end of his life has come to Herrick Harcross.
The still north remembers them, and so, with affection, do their classmates of 1926.
