Harris Huston died of a heart attack October 14 at Pentagon City Hospital. He and Hazel made their home in Arlington, Va., but the trip back to Hanover never seemed too long for reunions and other get-togethers of the class. We shall miss the presence of his good humor and smile.
Frank Williams died in Sarasota, Fla., December 30. He had moved there 30 years ago from Pelham Manor, N.Y. The beautiful winter turned into an icy, slushy mess in January in most of the country, and the Upper Valley was no exception. Your scribe took a tumble on ice and broke several ribs—glad it wasn't worse!
We are hoping '29 will set a new record for attendance at a 70 th Reunion, so start making your plans for coming back to Dartmouth in June. It will be a memorable occasion—the last Commencement of this century and die first to be presided over by our new president, Jim Wright. Let's make it a grand 70th celebration!
Rip's verse of the month:
"With the wisdom of age I know how things should go
And where everything should belong, But I'm still getting older and starting to know
That I may have the whole thing wrong."
