After two newsy months in a row, there has been a real dearth of classmate news this month. Perhaps the winter snows up this way kept some of your cards and letters from getting through to me. In reality, I suspect you simply are waiting to catch up with one another in person at our 25 th. Reunion Chair EdHeald assures me that we can expect a great turnout on the Hanover Plain in June.

The one piece of news I did pick up last month was about fellow Mainer Bob Wade. Having arrived with my family uncharacteristically early for a Portland, Maine, performance of Carmen by the New York City Opera National Company, I devoured the playbill to the point of noticing Bob's name among the trustees of the Portland Stage Company. Bob serves as the board's treasurer, and in a follow-up telephone conversation with him I learned that he also serves as vice president and treasurer of Hannaford Brothers Company. Hannaford Bros, is a superbly well-run company which operates supermarkets in New England, and Bob has been with it almost since his graduation from Tuck a couple of decades ago. Bob and his family reside in Scarborough, Maine.

Please write. There is one more class column before the reunion.
