Babies babies everywhere. Well, except here, thank goodness. But our little part of the Dartmouth family is growing faster than you can say "10 years out." The first message comes from Erika Katz Abramson, who had a baby last October named Stone Wyatt Abramson. Congratulations, Erika! Next we have Kristin (Bruhi) Wu, who had a baby last ThanksgivingAlexander Henry Wu weighed in at 6 pounds, 13 ounces, though I'm sure he's much bigger by now but still as cute as ever! Mike McClure writes that he and his wife also had their first child, a baby boy, in April. Welcome, Ryan Michael McClure! I have some friends on the "expecting" list, but I think I'll wait till their little ones actually arrive before giving them the spotlight—so brace yourselves, there are more members of the class of 2023 on the way.... As for the nonreproductive news, there is plenty of that, too. Pamela Ashe sends in her first alumni report since graduation, letting us know that "I am alive and well in beautiful Atlanta, and am probably the only member of our class who is still with the same employer since graduation." Pamela works as a HR manager for Bell South Long Distance, after spending time at Bell South's cellular and international divisions. "2000 was a big year," writes Pamela. "I completed my M.8.A., bought a condo, did consulting work in Nicaragua and toured Spain and Portugal with Judi Flynn '95. This year I'm going to Italy, Greece and Turkey and can't wait." Please send us updates when you return, Pam, and have fun! Michael Corriere writes about "the last Dartmouth wedding of the millennium"his own. 'After a lengthy and gratifying six-year relationship," Michael exchanged vows with Lisa Kangon December 30 in beautiful North Scottsdale, Arizona. "I really don't know that this is the last Dartmouth wedding of the (true) millennium," admits Michael, "but until someone tells us otherwise, we'll proudly claim the title for ourselves. " When Michael wrote in, Lisa was working as a counselor for the DuPage County Mental Health Service in the Chicago suburbs, and Michael was assistant administrator for the Progress of Women and Minorities Program at the Illinois Department of Labor. Zola Mashariki Reyes writes with her own update on happenings in her life. "I got married on September 3,2000, to my law school sweetheart, Ray," writes Zola. "We had a big wedding that included tons of Dartmouth and Harvard friends. My maids of honor were Alex Bernadotte '92 and Heather Craig '92 and my bridesmaids were Kim Reddick '92, Donna Sanabria '92, Anne-Marie Mulagha '93 and Elsa Mehary '93. My flower girl (who looked like a little princess!) was Yamila BlakelLazu, the 4-year- old daughter of Jacqueline Lazu and her husband, Chris Blake. Jacqui is finishing up her Ph.D. at Stanford this year, while Chris is an analyst for Intuit." Other '94s in attendance were Randall Dottin, who is finishing up film school at Columbia, and Malik Franklin, who works in Silicon Valley for Wit Capital. A great time was had by all! Zola no longer works as a lawyer, but says, "I am having the time of my life as a studio executive in Los Angeles. This means I get to find and oversee the production of films. I also get to travel to film festivals to find new talent. I am really enjoying Hollywood!" If any of you out there consider yourselves "new talent," give Zola a call. And write me, too, while you're at it. Keep writing and take care.
