The College sent me a newspaper article written by Dinesh D'Souza titled "What's So Great About America?" an excerpt from his New York Times bestseller of the same title and now available in paperback. I have not read the book; regardless of political persuasion I highly recommend the article and plan to force my kids to read it. It offers a refreshing perspective from someone raised outside of this country and reminds us Americans who were born and raised here to appreciate the amenities and opportunities we tend to take for granted. Dinesh currently works as the Rishwain Research Scholar at the Hoover Institution, writes prolifically on public policy issues and appears on numerous television programs includingNightline,Firing Line and GoodMorning America. Helives in Rancho Santa Fe with his wife, Dixie, and 8-year-old daughter, Danielle.

The Puerto Rican Conservation Trust appointed Fernando Lloveras-San Miguel as executive director in January. Fernando holds an M.M.P. from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard and a magna cum laude J.D. from the University of Puerto Rico. He previously served as theco-founder, president and CEO of Microjuris.com, a highly successful Internet legal information provider. The Conservation Trust acquires and preserves land of ecological, aesthetic, historical and cultural value, a real challenge given the dense population of the island. We wish Fermando the best of luck in this important endeavor.

followed him back to table and sat down at it. The tall handsome man at the table first looked alarmed but then recognized me when I said, 'Aren't you married to Nancy Bick?" The stalking victim, Dwight Krossa, was in town at a convention looking for fancy electronic gadgets for the house they are building in Kirkland, Washington. My most excellent former roommate from Billings, Montana, met her husband at Microsoft, where he is currently director of Xbox platforms. Nancy has her hands full writing her first novel while supervising construction on the new house as well as their children, Cody (9) and Ellie (6).
