More news from Frank Aldrich, who keeps in touch with many of the class. Elaine Andrew (widow of James M. Andrew Jr.) writes that she had "two incredible weeks on a tented safari in Kenya with 18 Andrew offspring." That is keeping them gathered together.

Dave Mott writes that he and his wife have moved to 1664 Duran Drive, Lady Lake, FL32162 for six months of the year in order to avoid some of those Michigan winters. He remarks: "A lot of big moves for someone in their reclining years." Amy Campbell writes that, "Fred Campbell is very busy being secretary of our Colorado Springs Symphony and loving it."

Alan Foster, writing from Naples, Florida, comments that after our hockey team defeated Boston College, the No. 1 team in the nation, it must be disappointing to our athletes that they do not seem to get much recognition when they work so hard. Your secretary would like to think they are getting a little more attention in our local press than they might on a national basis. That may be more satisfying, too.

Marie and Harry Bissell write to Frank that, "While you were taking care of the banking needs of the world, we were enjoying a month in France, from Paris to Omaha Beach to Provence. What a sight!"

Jack Nuber says: "We have been living here at the Landings in Ft. Myers, Florida, for some eight years and it is definitely home now."

Hank Dutcher, writing from Port Charlotte, Florida, says he is looking forward to the Florida reunion, which will have taken place when this is read. Like many of us, he was devastated to learn of Steve Hull's passing.

Dick Momsen and Bobbie write that the river pilots in Venezuela were on strike because of the unrest in that country and the Momsens were not able to travel up the Orinoco River as far as Bolivar and, instead, saw several Caribbean islands that were pleasant but less interesting. They had been on the same cruise ship several months earlier and, therefore, knew crew members, which added extra fun to their trip.

Do not forget the class mini-reunion in Quechee October 3-4 with Pennsylvania football.
