We received noticeof the death of Donald Reynolds Crane on September 12,2002. Don was widowed but leaves twin sons Donald and Douglas. Before retiring to Ponte Vedra Beach in Florida, Don was an executive with the A&P Co. He served in WWII as a naval lieutenant commander, and was in the southwest Pacific on V-J Day. Don enjoyed golf and fishing, was active in his church and in civic assignments, and in retirement served as president of the Ponte Vedra Community Association.

In 1928 Disney's Mickey Mouse made his debut.Amos&Andy were favorites on radio.
In 1929 Rudy Vallee crooned. John Weismuller broke records in swimming. October 29th the Stock Market crashed.
In 1930 The Depression. Sinclair Lewis won the Nobel Prize for Literature. Bobby jones scored a grand slam.
In 1931 you graduated! You hardly noticed that Mrs. Ernest (Wallie) Simpson was presented in the Court of St. James.
