Now that Elmer Tenney is running the health department of the city of Berkeley, he seems to have time to write letters—at least time to write one letter to the Secretary which explains his taking over the health department by saying, "I had notreached the stage where I felt like loafing, and so ivas very glad to get located here inwork with which I am familiar. Some dayI may wish to stop, but not quite yet." He tells about his sons, both of whom are lawyers—'"not a doctor in the second generationz." His older son is vice-consul of career, and is stationed at Hamburg, Germany. This will give the Major a chance to go over and make a call on Hitler! The second son is planning to get his law degree at Stanford in June.

"What Every '94 Man Knows" is that Bud Lyon has swung to action for another class report. He is trying to arouse interest by developing a contest to see who has the largest number of grandchildren. The Secretary is betting on Kid Martin.
