Seems the mailman got snowed in this month Not much in the way of gossip to pass along, but a sincere thanks to those faithful few who did write.
jim and Phyllis Leavitt had a baby boy, Sheldon Heyward, on January 2. Jim is at the University of Michigan and will get his B.S. in Industrial Engineering m June. Bob Boye writes that he and wife Nancy have a daughter, Kristen. now about six months old. The Boyes are now at Fort Knox, soon to proceed to Fort Hood, Texas.
Mike Ehrlich sends news of the black-bag set in New York and vicinity. Mike is in his third year of Columbia's College of Physicians and Surgeons. Neil Grey and Mike Bromer are at New York's School of Medicine. Neil was married to Joan Spirn in late December. Kenny Siegel is attending Columbia Dentistry School. Marty Kraidin is also studying dentistry and is about to graduate from Penn. He has just been accepted at Columbia for some extra postgraduate work and specialty training.
M Dave Hiley, Barry Macl ean and wives dropped in the other night after some skiing. The Mac Leans had a baby girl, Elizabeth, on September 8. They are living in Deerfield, Ill. The Hileys are still in Hartford, where Dave is with Aetna.
Dana Johnson was in Hanover a week or so ago for some skiing. He is now living in New York and selling for Field Crest. The "Neck," too, has succumbed and plans to be married next September. Actually, one sees quite a few familiar faces around town, as there are a number of 60's up here now in grad school and such. John Kersey, Doug Horsburgh, Bob Prouty and Pat McLaughlin are at the med school. Rod Issacson, CaiRaber, Ray Martinelli and Joe Cramer are working at Thayer School. Bob Hatch, Ed Johanson and John Hoyne join me at Amos Tuck. And Dave Mankowski, Frank Killilea,Dave McEachron and Terry Newcomb are at the college finishing up after being in the service, etc. Hope I haven't missed anybody.
Bob Derderian is at present an assistant information officer for the Navy out at Great Lakes, Ill. Last I heard, Wayne Givens was stationed out there, too. Tom Trimarcois in the Army and stationed in Fort Bliss, Texas. Recent activities include being a member of the soccer team that won the Ist Guided Missile Brigade Championship.
Well, that's all for this month. Don't be surprised if little men come around and ask for money for a Small New England College. It's that time again and we'd appreciate all the help you can give in this year's fund drive. Also — I need some pen- pals.
