Sadly, I must report the deaths of Maury Rapf, who everyone knew, and Leroy "Roy" Shattuck, of whom I know very little except that he received a Ph.D. at Johns Hopkins and an LL.B. at Duquene University and then taught economics at Dartmouth from 1938 to 1941.

Yours truly is still on the job and also golfing, swimming and generally enjoying life. I just came from a foreign policy association meeting and sitting next to me was Natalie (widow of Ben Rosenberg), who is now happily remarried and in great shape.

I spoke to Florrie Fitzhugh, who told me, sad to say, that Bill was not moving along the way he should.

I would like to report that Mildred, wife of Ed Reich, was coming along nicely, but again, sadly, I can't.

John, son of Walt Petke, is a golf course architect, and Walt insisted I get in touch with him. John fixed up my Joy's daughter and son-in-law with a day at one of his courses, and would not let them put their hands in their pockets. No one can ever say that anyone in the great class of 35 was not the tops.
