Less than 10 months before our big birthday bash in Palm Springs (April 22-25, 2004)! As of May 2003 approximately 30 classmates have indicated that they will attend and another 25 have indicated that they may attend. This count should certainly increase as the weekend bash draws nearer. Just remember that you have to stay (alive) to play! Thanks to Duane Cox, Bill Blue, Shelly Baroff, Art Jacobson and the new addition to their team, John Wilkins.

Many class issues have arisen over the past few months regarding class dues, DAM subscriptions and to what extent non-dues paying classmates should be deleted, class budgetary constraints and cutbacks in certain class expenditures with respect to certain College-related areas previously supported in part by our class dues. Signs of the economic times!

Pete Bleyler has been able to make Frank Ginn an offer he could not refuse. As a result, the class now has it 45th reunion chairman. Anyone who desires to assist Frank should contact Frank or Pete. Frank has volunteered that any and all assistance will be very much appreciated.

Kudos to Pete Bleyler, our class president, for his outstanding communication efforts and Internet skills in presenting and creating the forum for the class executive committee members to discuss the various topics of interest and concern to the class. I always know when there is a topic for review and debate as I open up my e-mail on a given day and discover that I have more e-mails to read from various members of the class executive committee than those related to my profession/business. The opinions usually vary, but they are usually well thought out and well communicated, although some are not always as brief as they could be.

Since my last DAM class article, I have had dinner with Gerry and Jackie Kaminsky, lunch with Larry Levy and lunch with Bob and Linda Rosier (new grandparents at the date this article was written)— all Pi Lam fraternity brothers.

Unfortunately, I have no other news to report, except that I'll be attending the semi-annual Alumni Council meeting in May. Lately a lot of good discussion topics have arisen there and I expect this session to be no different based on the agenda and pre-meeting materials received.
