As Skip Mattoon noted in his December newsletters, there are more and more children being born to '63's. Lil and I felt the tide was passing us by, so on December 20 our daughter, Karen Debra made her appearance (two weeks before Lil's due date - how's that for tax planning?). They're both fine; Lil is back at Med School and will receive her degree this May.

Robin Carlson checked in from Dickinson Law School. He's editor of their newspaper and does a really outstanding job with it. It seems while studying and editing, he runs a car washing service in Carlisle - and advertises his services in his publications. Rob will graduate this year. A card from Harry Zlokower, my 'DCR announcing partner, sent a card bringing me up-to-date on his current activities. He received an M.A. from N.Y.U. last June and is teaching high school m New lersey while his wife, Bobbi, is studying for her M.S. at the Bank Street College of Education. They're living at 60 E. 12th Street, Apt. 6A, New York.

Tim Ratner passed a letter through Bob Tucker, who is at New College, Oxford. Tuck is apparently fine and had nothing outstanding to report. Tim wrote from Tan Son Nhut Air Base in Vietnam where he has flown a couple dozen combat missions. His duties apparently consist mainly of night photo recon missions. His quarters, about three miles from the base, which is just outside Saigon, are air-conditioned and Tim shares a room and shower with a buddy. His phone number at Tan Son Nhut is extension 4221, in case anyone has a lot of excess change. He's seen Pete Slavin a few times and heard that Bruce Phillips was running the port of Saigon. Pete is with Army Intelligence. Tim wrote that he met the girl - Ann Ghiglione and is engaged. They met while Tim was stationed at Alconbury and Ann worked at the base with a Univac team as a systems analyst. They were installing computers on bases throughout Europe. After a whirlwind, trans-European courtship, Tim proposed; I think she's in England now and they plan to meet in Bangkok. Tim plans the wedding shortly after he gets back to this country - probably in May. Meanwhile, his address is: Lt. Tim Ratner FR79915; 16 TRS, APO San Francisco 96307.

Another '63 in Vietnam stole some time to write and enclosed a photo of himself and another Dartmouth man; Bill Spencer and Ed Boselly '62, both AF First Lieutenants. Spence is Information Officer for Phan Rang Air Base and the Fighter Wing there. He should be leaving there in March. He writes that Pete Morrison comes to Phan Rang every two months or so from Clark AB in the Philippines. Pete is with the B-57 force as a navigator. Spence can be reached through Hdqs. 35th CSGp., APO San Francisco 96321.

Hanover sent along news that Ed McCabe and Bob Berenboick are practicing law; Ed is with a Boston firm doing litigation work and Bob is with a Hackensack, N. J. firm. Now I know where to send those referrals. John Hashagan is now assistant secretary of First National Bank in Rochester; he was formerly with a New York bank; GeorgeRichardson is serving as a foreign service officer at a U.S. Embassy or consulate somewhere. If he knows where he is or will be, let the rest of us know also. John Reinertson also has gotten engaged - to Mary L. Haskins of New York. John is with the United States mission at the U.N.; she's with the American Broadcasting Company also in New York.

A few brief notes: saw Barry Linsky (with Lever Bros, in New York) at Penn game. He's fine and enjoying his job; GeoffMurphy also doing well with Price-Water-house in The City; and Armand Villiger won a contest sponsored by station WABC for the best suggestion concerning where owners of motor scooters could park them in New York. He won with his suggestion to winch them up on top of telephone poles. If anyone has heard of his suggestion being utilized, let me know. See you next month.
