It would appear that Alumni Records is on to the Social Security death list, because we have 11 notices from Hanover, half of which go back to 2001 or 2002. In 2003 we have lost Olds Anderson in February; Dr. Charlie Thompson and Van Lee in April; Dick Woodward in May; and Pep Gray and Herb Hirschland in June.
The big news out of the president's office indicates that Baxter Prescott has been tabbed to run our 65th reunion. In the event that you have not heard, it will be celebrated not in June as usual, but rather in the fall, over the Yale football game. The good news is that the entire class will be put up in the Inn at affordable prices, supposedly.
Another announcement from President Hanna's office is that he is now in business with his son, Tom, and can be reached at Thomas R. Hanna, Attorney, 41 School St., Keene, NH 03431; (603) 352- 9030. Also directed out of this office came the New Hampshire Bar News, which had a front-page announcement that Fred Upton had been named the recipient of the Donald E. Dufresne Professionalism Award. Fred, a former NHBA president, is being recognized for his outstanding career as an attorney and as an advocate for a strong and independent judiciary.
