By the time you read this, will Howard Dean still be sending us e-mails every day? Will the class of 1983 still be submitting Egreen Cards through our swanky new Web site everyday? Well, maybe not every day, but many of you have written via the Web site. Also, you've paid dues online with Pay Pal—keep it coming. We are really close to funding a class scholarship. Go to: www.dartmouth.org/classes/83.

Certain political candidates may be looking for work these days, but Bob Roach has a spiffy new job designation. In October he took on the mantle of business financial advisor with Merrill Lynch. The promotion garnered a press release, but the best news is that he works in friendly Wellesley, Massachusetts, a mere car ride away from campus. Dave Crane also knocks around Wellesley and works in Boston at the real estate firm Meredith & Grew.

On the other side of the country, Roger Satterthwaithe reconnects from Hawaii. He writes: "After dropping out in 1981, I spent three years in the Army as a medic and paratrooper. I finished Dartmouth in 1987 and then went to Columbia for medical school, then to Southern Cal in Los Angeles for six years of surgeiy and urology residency. Starting in 1997 I spent six years in the Air Force working as an urologist, medical administrator, trauma instructor and linguist. I left the military in 2003 to join the largest urology group in Hawaii." He's happy in Honolulu with significant other, Corinna Wong, an attorney who writes policy for the governor. He gets back to Dartmouth every year since his parents live in Vermont and likes to revisit the Sig Ep basement!

Slightly closer to home, Paul Aubin told us that he's been living in the East Bay since graduation and in Fremont, California, for about six years. He is a chiropractor, which often brings him to the city (a.k.a. San Fran). He and his wife, Lisa, have three children: Katie (11), Sarah (9) and Josh (3). He writes: "Life is hectic and wonderful. I just found out about this Web site and I think its great. I recognized many faces [from] the pictures from the reunion, but only remembered about half of the names (okay, maybe 1/4)."

Greg Diamond is on the East Coast, Westch- ester to be exact, and works at the municipal in- surance firm called MBlAsince 1985! He tells me he almost opened a restaurant after working for his dad's construction company after graduation, but thought better of it when he got a job at MBIA reviewing and writing contracts for public finance insurance policies. The rest, as they say, is histo- ry. He married his wife, Michele, in 1997, and has two children, Carolyn, 5, and Alex, 3. He talks with Sigma Nu brother Dick "Rich" O'Connell, a Dartmouth Players buddy of mine. Dick is in San Francisco and, last we heard, works for the communications firm Weathermews.

West Coast wedding bells: Jim Ulcickas writes: "Got married (first time around for both of us) on October 25 in Los Angeles to Julie Ann Winnaman USC 91. We live in Corona del Mar, California, and Menlo Park, California. The wed- ding was a blast and attended by Dartmouth friends Bruce and Mary Seabrook, Bill and Zib Cummings, Roger and Lisa Morrison, Anni Dupre Santry, Kathy Briscoe Plenge and Fred and Eileen Cuda."

Very proud '83 news: Elizabeth Lawrence Dittrick is now an alumni parent of Daniel Dittrick, accepted early-decision to the Dartmouth class of 2008. She's looking forward to many trips to Hanover over the next four years. Here's the kicker: He'll graduate the year of our 25th reunion. She asks that we please consider designating any future alumni fund contributions as "Dittrick-tuition."

Felt a little guilty and just paid my class dues online. It's easy. Or you can always send a check to Brad Mont, our treasurer. Be well.
