For whom the bells toll—approximately seven months now remain until our 45th reunion! Frank Ginn, reunion chairman, and his team of assistants are working very hard to make the reunion a diversified, stimulating and entertainment success. Be sure to make plans to attend.

Once again the reunion will schedule an auction of donated class alumni-owned residences, either primary or vacation, for one- or possibly two-week periods. As you will recall, this auction, under the then-leadership of Dave Prewitt, raised a lot of money for our 40th class reunion gift, and also provided a great travel experience for numerous classmates (including yours truly, who stayed for a week in the southern California home of Dave Blake). Contact Vic Rich, this reunions auctioneer, with your donations (e-mail victor.rich@rsmi.com; telephone 212/297-4812). The donation of other unusual items (e.g. private or corporate jet usage, private or corporate yacht usage, etc.) will also be considered.

Included among the business moguls of the

class is Dave Cook, the owner of Arizona-Sonora Air. Dave previously has been involved in the hotel business in the Caribbean and a winery in Arizona. It appears that Dave likes the good life, and is comfortable with it.

Another multi-faceted classmate is Bob "Otter" Anderson, who practices law as a partner in a Santa Rosa, California, law firm during the week and then, with his wife, Jen, runs a winery business, Cole Bailey Vineyards, in Redwood Valley on the weekends. Check out their Web site (www.colebailey.com) for their award-winning cabernet (called Sesquipedalian) and their sauvignon blanc.

Another class master at diversification is Duane "Doberman" Cox, who along with his fantastic wife, DeVona, are retired ministers of the Church of Religious Science and currently are successful artists. Both are also volunteer vice presidents of the Palm Springs Clergy Association and board members of the Palm Springs Desert Museums artist council.

Another AD alumnus is Tom McDonough, who is still an actively practicing psychologist in Merrimac, Massachusetts, but would like to get some kind of "overseas gig, like teaching in an American school" or some other well-paid "overseas setup," with his wife, Nan. Contact Tom with potential options.

Bert Rowley, class co-newsletter editor, and his wife, Pam, are both certified by Therapy Dogs International and work with patients at a local hospital. In addition, both show their pet boxer regularly at a highly competitive level. Pam competes in the agility events and Bert competes in obedience events. Bert has probably had a lot of practice in this area during the course of his marriage, but we're just not sure at which end!

Fall mini-reunion in Hanover, headed by Maynard Wheeler, our class mini-reunion chairman, was a well-planned, well-executed and wellattended event, held in conjunction with the classes of '58, '60 and '63.

Hurricane Katrina follow-up to this enormous, overwhelming tragedy of late August/early September: Ken Kolb (New Orleans), Jimmy Roussel (New Orleans), F.J. "Duck" Eicke (Clinton, Mississippi) and their families safely evacuated; we are still awaiting news from Henry Sarpe.

Finally, you can run, but you still can't hide! Our 45th reunion giving co-chairs Gerry Kaminsky and Don O'Neill will be seeking you out, if they haven't already.
