Hello '99s! Spring is finally upon us, and love is definitely in the air! There is lots of news on weddings to share with you.

First, I'm happy to announce that Pam Smith and Roy Wildeman were married on October 2, 2004. They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the Boston Public Gardens, and were surrounded by 50 of their closest family and friends. There was quite a strong Dartmouth contingent, including Mike Hren, Adam Haugo, Arieile Davis, Monet Euan and Shannon Marimon '00.The newlyweds kicked off this new phase of their life with a three-week honeymoon in Australia, which included scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef and wine tasting. Pam writes that she is working at Gillette, and that Roy has just started a new job with Accenture.

Also, Catherine Maxson writes that she is engaged to Marc Pieroni (Williams '99), whom she met five years ago in her first job out of Dartmouth. Catherine is extremely happy, and the two are planning to get married this fall. Catherine graduated from law school at Boston College last spring, and is now working as an associate in the estates and personal group at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York.

Catherine also writes that Heather (Harnett) Ross and Chris Ross are the proud parents of a baby girl, Isabella Caroline Ross. Catherine attended Isabellas christening in October and writes: "Bella is beautiful, and super sweet! Luckily, she doesn't mind being held by total strangers, and we had some bonding time." Heather sent an update, saying that Isabella is now 8 months old and is doing great. Isabella is an active child who is sitting up, chewing what she can and looking forward to taking first steps. Chris works as a reinsurance broker at Guy Carpenter & Co. in New York and Heather is a stay-at-home mom of Isabella and three mutts.

Finally, Derek Chau and Sarah Kelmenson were engaged over New Year's Eve, 10 years after they met in a religion course during their first year at Dartmouth. Sarah is in her second year of residency in emergency medicine at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, while Derek is in his second year at Harvard Law School. They are planning for an August wedding in Newton, Massachusetts. Congratulations, Derek and Sarah!

In other news, Aiyana Thompson writes that she is in her second year of law school at the University of lowa. Aiyana has an exciting summer ahead, as she begins a clerkship at Preston, Gates and Ellis in Seattle, Washington, and looks forward to meeting other alums in the Seattle area.
