For some issues I have too much material to fit in, and I spend more time editing than I do writing; for other issues (like this one), I have too little information so that I have to spend more time writing, making sure that I repeat myself at least once or twice during the course of the article.

Don't forget to join your classmates in Hanover for fall mini-reunion from September 30 to October 2 (Dartmouth-Penn football game). Maynard Wheeler, our mini-reunion chairman appears to have put together a great weekend and has personally guaranteed a varsity football win on Saturday. Maynard has planned breakfasts, lunches and dinners, discussion groups, cocktail parties, etc., etc. Make plans and make reservations. See you in Hanover.

While we are on the topic of mini-reunions, start clearing your schedule for the weekend of October 5—8, 2006. As of now, that is what is being considered by the class executive committee for an off-campus mini-reunion to take place in Philadelphia to coincide with the Dartmouth- Penn football game there. At the date of writing this article, a final decision had not yet been reached, so mark your calendar in pencil only. By the time you get to read this, a decision probably will have been finalized.

Our class had a strong showing at the Dartmouth Hillel dinner held in New York City in April to honor Mel Alperin '58. President Wright was the guest speaker. In attendance were Gerry Kaminsky, Larry Levy, Ted Tapper, Bill Weintraub and Vic Rich. Although I see Geriy and Lariy quite often, I had not seen Ted or Bill in many years (or decades). Both are successful physicians in the Philadelphia area and both looked well, and younger than their age.

I received a flyer in the mail that the New York Law School's Center for New York City Law was sponsoring the nth Citywide Seminar on Ethics in New York City Government. I guess it takes at least n times (possibly more) for those in New York City government to get it right! On a more serious side, this prestigious all-day session is being led by Ross Sandler, the director of the center. By the time you read this column, you will have missed this years ethics seminar (held in May). However, if they hold a 12th such seminar in 2006, you very well may want to attend.

Finally, Don O'Neill and Gerry Kaminsky, cochairs of our 45 th reunion giving committee, and their minions will be looking for you. You can run, but you can't hide!
