ON THE COVER Joshua Hurd '08, who will be leading a freshman trip this fall, atop Mt. Moosilauke where he works as the alpine steward. His own trip left a lasting impression. "I came to the College knowing nobody," he says, "I was in a new place, shy and intimidated by everyone around me.
