In other important news, Dean Krishna, Brian Hannigan, Tai Antoine, and Chance Hill are leading the nominating committee as we seek to elect a new executive committee and officers to lead the class for the next five years. Please blitz them if you're interested.
Perhaps the upcoming reunion caused Paul Biggs to take stock of his life. Paul writes, "This summer I'm quitting this job, packing my bags, and hitting the road. I'll be cruising through Colorado, California, Oregon, Washington, Indiana, Wyoming and Montana. After two months it's road-trip roulette! I'll choose the best town and move there. Keep an eye out for my portable pong table in a city near you."
Stephanie Fish writes, "I am living my dream here in Costa Rica. I offer yoga, massage, nature hikes and general customer service at La Cusinga Lodge." Nicho Dankers reports, "I'm in the Bahamas, working with Pat Leslie at the Island School. I'll be contracting with tree companies up the East Coast en route to our reunion."
Chance Hill is in Thailand with his Navy F- 18 squadron in the months leading up to reunion, while Eric Bielke is in Wellington, New Zealand, doing PR for a tech firm and spending his workweeks planning his weekends. Mateusz Troicki is in Germany studying international business for his last semester at the Tepper School of Business. Negarra Kudumu is completing a graduate program in the Netherlands and contemplating a move to London. Kristin Romberg is finishing her second year in the Marshall Islands teaching high school music.
Some '01s are actually still in the country. Headed in the business direction next fall: Soon Hyouk Lee will be at Harvard Business School, Jacqueline Dresow at UC Irvine, and Luisa Capasso at Columbia. David Tatkow is finishing his first year in business at the University of Chicago, and Robin DeGracia is finishing hers at the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
Dan Pollock is graduating from Georgetown University Law Center and moving to Minneapolis, Minnesota, with his girlfriend. Dave Castleman is graduating from Penn Law School and doing a clerkship with a judge in Akron, Ohio. Shelley Sandell is graduating from Kellogg School of Business.
Eric Long is starting Cornell Veterinary School in the fall, and Margaret Grace Mills has been accepted to the molecular and cellular biology Ph.D. program at the University of Washington.
Eric Hogenson, Steve DeVecchi and Wes Self '02 have started a band in L.A. Check them out on my space.com under "music," and the band name, The Quick Six.
Amanda Montgomery and her boyfriend Judd New comb (University of Maine '00) recently bought an old farmhouse and barn near North Yarmouth in Maine. Jenna Perry and Steve Leschuk were at their housewarming in January.
In nuptial news, Roxanne Stahl and Chris O'Hara will be married in May in the Berkshires with zillions of '01s in attendance! Roshan Shah and Arthi Reddy will also be married shortly before reunion. Allison Murray is engaged to Martin Brennan (University of Buffalo '02); they were introduced by Scott and Alisa (Beck) Harrison. Melissa Edelman and fiance Jason Sorkin will be married in N.Y.C. in the fall. Lindsey Worrell was engaged on Christmas Eve and will be married to Jay W. Lundy of Chicago, Illinois, next spring in Nashville.
One step ahead of that game, Kara House Bayer and Mike Bayer had their baby, Abigail Jill, on January 12. Ethan White and his wife, Melissa,had their baby, Noah Nathan Carandangon February 21. Ryan Bouton and his wife Jenny'02, are expecting their second baby girl, Alethea, in early May.
