Jay Davis reports that the '54 ski mini-reunion in Vail, Colorado, started on and coincided with the fourth annual All Dartmouth Ski Day March 3. Approximately 125 people gathered for a group photo at the Vista Bahn lift, including our own Bob Adnopoz, Steve Mullins and Ned Freedman. "On Saturday night our full '54 group of seven—[the aforementioned three] plus Cliff Evans, Dick Gorsey, Tom Tyler and myself—was invited by Harlan Fair ('53 mini-reunion chairman) to join the 15 of them for a private dinner at Ludwig's Restaurant, an award-winning restaurant in the Sonnanalp Resort in Vail." In the three days that followed the '54s enjoyed skiing many of the trails Vail offers, in perfect Colorado weather.

Dick Page shared a welcome update on the bust of David McLaughlin, writing, "The sculpting of the bust is nearing completion and it is our hope that it will be ready for casting sometime in June. Judy McLaughlin and I will be going out to Love land, Colorado, to review the final product. The family is very pleased with everything the sculptor George Lundeen has done so far." Adedication is currently scheduled for September 19, the same date the McLaughlin Complex will be dedicated. More than 130 classmates contributed more than $55,000 to memorialize David, a true tribute to a great man.
