The year has started with a whir of class activity. Jay Davis organized a twoday ski gathering at Mt. Snow in Vermont in early January. Joined by Jack Christy, Steve Mullins, Dick Pearl, Bob Adnopoz, Ned Freedman, Dick and Eleanor Gorsey and Dana and Anne Low. This outing has for several years been touted as a prep for the major western slopes. This year the destination will be Vail for several days beginning March 5. Signed on for this adventure will be Jay, Steve, Jack, Ned and Dick Gorsey to be joined by Tom Tyler and Cliff Evans. Some stalwarts will continue on to Steamboat Springs on March 10 and 11.
And overlapping these snowbound activities will be the sixth annual golf outing organized by Mort Galper, scheduled for early March. This will be centered at the Country Club Inn and Suites in Fort Myers, Florida. Two or three golf courses are on the agenda as are several special activities assuring something for everyone. Participants include Phil Anderson, Don and Barbara Berlin, Bob and Fay Berry, Dave and Marie Dame, Bob and Kit Dean, Ron and Carole Dougherty, John and Natalie Fenn, John and Susie Freund, Mort and Judy Galper, Bill and Dot Garland, Alec and Mary Gray, Rick and Anne Hartman, Yngvar Hvistendahl, Tom and Liz Kelsey, Mitch and Judy Kramer, Ken Meyer, Bob and Barbara Levine, Tony and Paul Migliaccio, Bob and Patty Osmond, Fred and Mimi Page, Harry and Carol Robinson, Harry and Sue Rockefeller, Norm and Carol Ross, Pete Schenck, Tom Schenck, Jim and Joan Tof ias, Shelley and Elizabeth Woolf and Gary Zwart.
The overlap of activities deny skiers the golf outing and vice-versa—coordination next year by our organizers is a must!
