We stand corrected—there are 11 living classmates as well as 185 widows—and glad to learn there are six more '29ers than the five we had mentioned in earlier notes.

Another beautiful fall with magnificent colors and "leaf peepers" galore. Great for the economies of New Hampshire and Vermont.

The Class Officers Weekend meeting in midSeptemberwas as good as ever, and we all learned valuable lessons by being together.

We have several bits of news of Chris and John Dickeys family. Their daughter Sukey died early this year, and I had neglected to report it. Daughter Chris, married to Stewart Stearns '54, has a daughter, Sarah, who recently came to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center as a child psychologist. She has bought a house in the area where she is happily living with her two cats.

We recently lost a dear friend and neighbor, Crosbie MacMillen, widow of Bob 40. Many of you may have known Crosbie, as she was a class officer and took an active part in many Dartmouth affairs.

Rip: "These notes and quotes and anecdotes Are all of Mary's telling She writes her own stuff all alone And lets me check the spelling."
