Homecoming has come and gone but once again it was a memorable experience for those who attended. Even the football game was exciting, despite the overtime loss. This years gathering involved more business than usual and some changes in the format. Among those who gathered for the pre-bonfire dinner at Mollys were Mark Bankoff with Ann, David Prentice, Gary Day with Kaz,Terry Robinson and Vivian, John Leavitt and Peter Elias. Pictures from the parade and bonfire are available on the class Web site, so check that out.

The business meeting covered a lot of ground with president Dudley Kay leading the group through the details. Our treasurer Paul Tuhus reports the class finances are sound, building funds for our future class project and maintaining reserves for the 40 th reunion. We have lost our project coordinator, Bob Sturges, who reported to the meeting he is taking a new career opportunity that will consume most of his time for a while. Details of his move are in the newsletter and a future column. Rick Willets reminds everyone we are reading this magazine and the newsletter thanks to those who paid class dues; if you didn't payyours, help us out and participate. Business discussion included creating an expanded executive committee to get more people involved in class activity and provide more input. Nearly all those attending agreed to be a part of this committee. Arthur Fergensons proposed resolution to accept the "pioneering nine" as adopted members of the class was unanimously approved, so those women join Susan Wright A 69. The meeting covered leadership progression and succession seeking more input from class members as we approach our next reunion. All agreed the creation of an expanded executive committee will be beneficial. Dud couldn't find the get-well cards he had purchased for Bob "Lefty" Lefkowits but suggested everyone check the Web site to follow Lefty's recovery from the serious surfing accident he suffered fered over the summer. We all wish him well.

Following the bonfire the gathering at the Hanover Inn included two of our newly adopted members, as Geri Silk and Carol Dudley were presented classy white '69 jackets. Others at the party were Norman Jacobs with Irene, Greg Lau with Nancy, John Bisson and Judy and many others.

Game day brought a new venue for tailgating as our group joined some '68s at the AD House. Several classmates dropped by with visits from John French, Dimitri Gerakaris, Jim Staros and Alice, Jeff Bloomberg and the College photographer, our own Joe Mehling. Later many of the group joined Bruce Hamilton and Bob Shellard with Trish at the Coolidge Hotel for a dinner with several members of the class of '68. Everyone agreed it was an enjoyable and meaningful gathering, well attended and held early enough that the New Hampshire foliage was in top form. Remember, there are a couple more homecomings you can attend before our 40 th, so make travel plans and join the fun.

There is much more news about classmates that will appear in the newsletter or a later column, so stay tuned and drop Allen Denison or me a note.
