It was a gorgeous day, but hot as heck and I even managed to get a sunburn on my scalp. There was a large Dartmouth contingent there, including Amit Maihotra, Anil Doshi, Ed Kim, David Berkowitz, Martin Kessier, Sharat Raghavan and wife Karen Raghavan '99, Neil Desai and Eric's father, Jerry Pettit '67. Betsy also wants you to know that: "In March

Michael Lee and his wife welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the world. Owen Jacob Lee is a happy bubbly baby. And he looks just like his daddy."

And Betsy acted as a conduit for Joan Ai, who wrote in to tell us (through Betsy): "Things are great on my end, still very busy working in corporate philanthropy for Goldman Sachs. I recently got married to Jonathan Moss (Stanford '88) and we are enjoying married life in N.Y.C. He's looking forward to our loth-year reunion and it will be fun going to his 20th next fall."

And, finally, an update not provided by Betsy Brad Jefferson wrote in to let us know about his new business venture (and, the cynic in me thinks, in hopes of garnering some free pub). Well, today's your lucky day, Brad. I just happen to have some space in the column foryou to introduce Animoto to the world (of Dartmouth alums). Brad wrote: 'As a faithful reader of Dartmouth Alumni Magazine I've been anxiously awaiting this day when I could finally offer you a preview of my company, Animoto, which was founded by three alumni (two '98s and one '01). One final point of interest is that the three founders of Animoto who went to Dartmouth together invented the Dartmouth Interactive Directory (a precursor to Facebook) while in school and even received funding from the College to deploy it in 1998 (sixyears before Facebook started!). I'm not sure if the Dartmouth Interactive Directory is still running at Dartmouth but it was pretty cutting edge when we deployed it in Hanover."
