Hello '05s. Welcome back again to your Class Notes. And a big thanks to everyone who submitted notes to me this month—I love keeping you informed about what your classmates are up to.
Misa Granis wrote in that she is now working in visual merchandising, a field she didn't even know existed until she began working at Steve & Barry's in Port Washington, Long Island. She says, "My tiny team and I are changing the world, one eco hang at a time." Good for you, Misa!
So many '05s are headed back to school.
I exchanged e-mails with Steve Gruber, who is now a law clerk with Greenberg Traurig in Denver while also attending the University of Denver Law School
Also in law school now is Kristeen Reeves, who sent me her Class Notes via postcard. She's working at Leffler & Hyland, a law firm in Fairfax, Virginia, and started law school at George Mason in August.
One last law school bound '05 is Dan Bryan who started classes at Columbia Law School this fall.
Andrea Olinger wrote to say that she moved to the West Coast in August to start a master's program in applied linguistics at UCLA.
Tyler Stahl wrote in with the update that he is living in Seattle, beginning a master's program in pastoral counseling at the Seattle University of Theology and Ministry. The program runs three years, and he plans to remain in Seattle afterward and work within the counseling field there.
Doug Hannah also has gone back to school he's attending Stanford to study management science and engineering. I know I'm looking forward to welcoming him to the Bay Area!
Michael Chan, after receiving his master's at Columbia, is now continuing his education at Yale. Michael began a Ph.D. program for Eastern languages and literature this fall.
Callie Thompson is now attending the Cranbrook Academy of Art to receive an M.F.A. in print and media.
Kaitlyn Jaxheimer forwarded me a great article about a fellow '05 who's always in the sports news it seems: Lee Stempniak. Last season Lee was the NHL's St. Louis Blues highest scorer and is now their sixth-highest paid player, with a three-year $7.5 million contract. Congratulations, Lee!
That's all I have for you today, '05 s! But keep sending me your information. And I'm going to start blitzing members of the class whom I haven't heard from to see what they're up to: I hope we'll get even more fresh names in the column! And don't forget that you can send me Green Card updates through our '05 Web site: www.dartmouth.org/~class05/.
