Erich Kunzel '57, the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra conductor since it was established in 1977, has been awarded a 2006 National Medal of Arts, the federal government s highest award for artists, by President George W. Bush. Sandy (Bryan) Weatherall '83 of Ipswich, Massachusetts, has been inducted into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame. She holds the Dartmouth women's lacrosse record for most points scored in a game (12), was a three-time All-Ivy League selection and played on three U.S. World Cup teams.

Daniel Daniels '84, a partner with Cummings & Lockwood in Stamford, Connecticut, made Worth magazine's list of the top 100 U.S. attorneys serving affluent clients.

Michael Keller '87, chief brand officer for International Dairy Queen Inc. in Minneapolis, Minnesota, was named National Brand Marketer of the Year by PR News.

Ron Grant '88, an AOL veteran who most recently served as Time Warner's senior vice president of operations, has been appointed president and chief operating officer of AOL LLC in Dulles, Virginia.

Eric Heaton '89, who co-heads Merrill Lynch's Americas financial institutions group, and Vikrant Sawhney '92, managing director of Deutsche Bank's financial sponsors group, were named to Investment Dealers Digest's list of "Forty Under 40" on Wall Street.

Chris Munro '95, vice president of highyield capital markets for JP Morgan in London, has been dubbed a "junk bond jewel" and ranked No. 34 in TheFinancial News' 100 "Rising Stars" list. Zola Mashariki '94, the subject of a Nov/Dec 2004. DAM feature story, has been promoted from director to vice president of production for Fox Searchlight Pictures in L.A. She's worked on InAmerica, Antwone Fisher and Le Divorce.
