Henry Nachman reports from Hanover about the memorial service for Dave Hall in February. Our Dick Bucey was one of several speakers during the service at the White Church. The other speakers were mostly Dave's professional colleagues who talked about his character, dedication, sense of humor, etc., but very little about what he did. I delight in researching oldDAM notes by Dave Leslie for wedding news of classmates that meet the qualifications of still being alive, still being married to each other and not having appeared in the DAM notes recently. Dick Spencer fits perfectly and here is his write up from January 1956: "Gwendolyn Williams, having graduated from the department of nursing at Skidmore, and having joined the staff of the Visiting Nurse Association of Boston, decided that marriage was for her, and so announced her engagement to Dr. Dick Spencer. At last word Dick was serving with the Navy Medical Corps after having received his M.D. from the USC Medical School." They were married that April and as described in his 50th yearbook essay, he pursued a career in nuclear medicine that ended up at the University of Connecticut, Where he still hangs his hat. They have also found time to travel more, as he threatened to do in his essay.
