Absolutely thrilled to have spoken to two of our classmates. Dave Duffy has not changed one bit in all these years. I can still see Dave and his dear wife, Faith, at our minireunions in years gone by—l can see them riding the bus to and from a gathering at the home of Ginny and Phil Leach or to the Dartmouth Outing Club. The Duffys reside in Bloomfield, Connecticut. And my dear friend George Kingsbury, our class president, who called to discuss the upcoming reunion and talk of earlier times. He and his dear Midge are still in New Hampshire but no longer have "the farm." Dave and George are alive and kicking—maybe not as high of a kick as years past, but you'd never know it if you talked to them. Spry as ever and sharp as a tack. See, age is just a number!
Received notice of the loss of four classmates: Heath "Red" Parker of Connecticut; Dick Nelson of California; Joe Van Denburg of Minnesota; and Dave Bradley of Maine. I'm sure you all have fond memories of these wonderful gentlemen, and perhaps remember, with awe and pride, the skiing feats of Dave while at Dartmouth and after—sincerest of sympathy to family members.
Recently you should have received a letter from yours truly informing you of the upcoming 70th reunion with a response card to be filled out and returned. I would really appreciate hearing from you—so thank you to those who took the time to respond, and I await to hear from the remainder of the class. Remember I'm thinking of all of you and wishing you well.
