More news from the Washing- ton, D.C., dinner as reported by Greg Fell. Wayne Hobin is a real estate magnate in Keowee Key, South Carolina. Wayne reports that this is a beautiful place to retire and Wayne can make it happen. Bob Lafsky has a medical practice in Northern Virginia. He advises us that his daughter Melissa 'oo has a much more interesting life than he does, as a freelance writer and blogger. Frank Anton is CEO of Hanley Wood, a businessto-business media company that manages trade shows for the housing industry—a challenge these days. Garret Rasmussen is a partner of the Orrick law firm, specializing in anti-trust law. Gene Elrod is a lawyer (we must have some kind of record for the most lawyers in a class) with Sidley Austin in Washington, practicing energy law and living the good life in D.C. Holly Joseph (she was a Wheaton transfer student in our class) is tutoring and doing volunteer work in Washington.

A recent press release recognized Andrew Urban (as well as Ralph Child '72, William Hill '81 and Paul Ricotta '78) as one of Mine, Levin law firms Massachusetts Super Lawyers for 2007. Andrew is also a managing member. Only 5 percent of Massachusetts lawyers were named 2007 Massachusetts Super Lawyers.

Barry Brink is planning a golf outing with Doug Boyink up at Bandon Dunes, Oregon, for three days in late June. Bandon is one of the premier golf destinations in the world. Barry is also planning a ski trip to Beaver Creek with his extended family for late February. Sounds like the rigors of being a football lineman haven't slowed Barry down.

Sam Webster and spouse Jane attended a conference at Squaw Creek Resort in Lake Tahoe, California, in February. I've always been impressed with the legal and medical profession's propensity to hold conferences in beautiful locations while adjusting the hours of the "business" portion of the conference appropriately. They were able to spend an extra day skiing with and visiting your Class Note's author and spouse Kathy at Alpine Meadows. Sam confirmed that the "blue" slopes at Squaw Valley are more like "blacks" in other parts of the United States but he and Jane both looked very sharp as they carved turns down the terrain. Sam is a lawyer for Willcox & Savage, specializing in railroad defense litigation. Their daughter Emily is getting married in June with the reception planned for their spacious backyard in Norfolk, Virginia, overlooking a river.

Sam reported that Bill Jacobsen, his South Fayer roommate, is working at Triumph Aerospace Group in Newport News, Virginia, while living in Greenville, South Carolina. Sam also reports that Bill Powers recently became the chair of the neurology department at UNC Chapel Hill.

Marc Josephson and Jim "Sully" Sullivan '73 are coordinating a golf outing in Las Vegas in memory of Chip Reese and Chuck Thomas at the end of March. Classmates rumored to be attending include Murray Bowden, John Colangelo and Mike Hannigan.

Keep the news coming.
