Our dedicated reunion committee is busy making arrangements for the big event June 15-18. Chaired by Peter Blodgett, the committee includes Ken Canfield, Rosalyn Loomis and Chris Nicholson. Plans include College seminars, golf, tennis, water sports at the river and entertaining evening activities. We will enjoy meals at favorite sites around the campus, including the Bema and the DOC house on Occom Pond. The class tent beckons for catching up, swapping stories and sharing memories. To find out additional information and details or to confirm your attendance, please go to www.dartmouth.org/classes/74 Plan now to join in the fun!

If you like good detective thrillers then I recommend you read Rick Shefchik's first two novels,Amen Comer (2007) and GreenMonster (2008). Interwoven with sports themes and 1970s music trivia, these stories revolve around the crime-solving skills of a private investigator who is a Dartmouth alumnus and former Minneapolis police detective. Rick, a Minnesotan himself, was an English/ creative writing major in Hanover. He was a successful journalist for nearly 30 years before launching his new career as a novelist.
