Hi '01s! Once again we have lots to report from our classmates: Chad Goodridge's latest film project, PassingStrange, directed by Spike Lee, is premiering at Sundance Film Festival in January. Scott Macartney is in Europe racing on the World Cup circuit. It is his nth year with the U.S. ski team and he looks forward to the World Championships this year in France and the Olympics in Vancouver next season (after qualifying for both, of course). UniversalSports.com has coverage to follow Scott's results. Kristin Luckenbill was drafted to play for the Boston Breakers in the new Women's Professional Soccer League. Games start in April; she hopes to see lots of Dartmouth alums in the stands!

Chance Hill continues to serve as a naval intelligence officer stationed in Iraq; he has been there eight months with five more to go. He will be on R&R for most of January and will be visiting Bahrain, Egypt and Israel and may also get a chance to catch up with Andrew Trief while in Israel. After a year volunteering in Mississippi on Katrina rebuilding and several months at home in Boston Jennifer Feltner embarked on a belated gap year (or two) to explore her childhood interest in wildlife conservation. Since landing in southern Arizona—the first of at least three locations—Jen has managed to weasel her way into a number of exciting projects, including jaguar and mountain lion tracking and heat/motion camera setup along the border. Jen is now trying to find time to practice her Spanish before heading off to an as-yet undetermined location in Latin America. Xander Bay was named the young alumni liaison to the Dartmouth Lawyers Association (DLA) and will be recruiting additional young attorneys for the DLA; please get in touch with Xander if you would like more information on the organization.

Andrew Pease is engaged to Lisa Samols, his girlfriend of six years. The couple is still in the early stages of wedding planning and is considering a potential summer 2010 date. Jay Schneekloth got married to Ashley Smith on November 8 in New Haven, Connecticut. There were approximately 30 Dartmouth alumni there, mostly from the class of 2001, and guests also included Mort Smith '48, Jay's grandfather. Allison Brennan attended the Thanksgiving weekend wedding of Steven Hsu to Laura Fraser '04. Other '01s attending included Jason and Kendall Lioon and Stephen Forster. Allison Cardlin recently got engaged to Doug Regulinski and is planning a July wedding on Long Island. Jane Parkin got engaged to her boyfriend Jens Kullmann while vacationing in California in November; the couple is planning to get married either next summer or spring of '10. Margaret Lee married Dave Bommarito on November 22. In attendance at the wedding were Jeet Sohal, Eric Anderson, Jennie Lee, Alyssa Rower and Lubna Ammar.

And congratulations to Anna Nika, who welcomed new baby Tyler Mengel on October 24, 2008.

Please continue to send updates.
