Kresge Fitness Center has come a long way since the Student Assembly in 2002 appropriated $3,700 to purchase two elliptical machines. The center now boasts 40 strength machines and 60 pieces of cardio equipment. Predictably the approximate number of daily student visits spikes and ebbs as does traffic at most health clubs— think New Year's resolutions and looming swimsuit season (on January 5,1,934 students worked out). Here's a closer look at the center s average daily visits during some recent terms:
