M. W. Adams of Atlanta, Ga., was one of the contributors to the book " Recent Christian Progress,published by • the Macmillan Company. The subject of his chapter was " Home Mission Work Among the Freedmen." The volume was compiled by Hartford Theological Seminary, in connection with its celebration last May of its 75th anniversary.
