Benefit vaudeville given by college talent was revived by the College Club, Thursday, March 25, the proceeds to go toward the purchasing a splendid new Victoria-Victrola phonograph now in the possession of the club. The affair scored a distinct success and brought forth several latent artists.
Arthur P. Donovan 'll was the winner of the first prize, decided by popular vote. His impersonation in, "The Girl Behind the Counter," was nothing short of remarkable. Second in favor was the Carroll Comedy Company, made up of Carroll '09, Morawski '09, and Fay '10, presenting the original melodrama, "The Derby Winner." R. A. Pettingill '09 in "Mother's Angel Child" and the Hi Henry minstrels : Childs '09, Morawski '09, and Carroll '09, were good also.
