The Journal of the American Medical Association for October 9 contains an article by Fred H. Albee and Professor A. R. Gilliland on Metrotherapy, or The Measure of the Amplitude of Voluntary Movement. This is a report of a method used in the measureraent of the return of function in cases of injury resulting from gun shot wounds as an aid in observation and encouragement to the patient. The article also points out the applications of the method in hospitals and industrial medicine.
"The Metamerphoses Ascribed to Lucius of Patrae Its Content, Nature, and Authorship," by Mr. Ben Edwin Perry, a dissertation presented to the Faculty of Princeton University in Candidacy for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy, has recently been published.

"The Tuition Charges of Our Colleges" by Mr. Homer Eaton Keyes, which appeared originally in the DARTMOUTH ALUMNI MAGAZINE for April, 1920, has been reprinted in the October issue of the Phi Beta Key.
