PROFESSOR TAKES PHOTOS OF RECENT SUN ECLIPSE

Prof. J. M. Poor and his assistants in the Department of Astronomy succeeded in obtaining photographs of the two-fifths eclipse of the sun in September. An apparatus for the purpose was erected in the Shattuck Observatory and four plates were taken. The pictures will be used in class work this term.
