Japanese Poetry" by former Professor Curtis Hidden Page, has been published by Houghton Mifflin & Co., in an edition limited to one thousand copies. This book will be reviewed in a future issue of the MAGAZINE.

The Anatomical Record for Sept. 20, 1923, contains an article "A Simple Method for the Demonstration of Bile Capillaries, with Indulin," by Dr. Harry T. French.

"The Absorption of mixed gases by charcoal. 1. Cargon-dioxide and nitrus oxide," by Prof. Leon B. Richardson, and Mr. John C. Woodhouse has been reprinted from the November, 1923, issue of the Journal of theAtrerican Chemical Society.

In the last annual report of the American Historical Association there appears an "Abstract of Commissions and Instructions to Colonial Governors in America: 1740," a copy made by Professor Arthur H. Basye of a manuscript in the Newcastle Collection in the British Museum.

A story "The Golden Cup of Kasimir" by Mr. Eric P. Kelley '06 appears in the December, 1923, issue of St. Nicholas.
