COLLEGE FENCERS HOLD CHAMPIONSHIP MEET

A three day fencing tournament staged by members of the Dartmouth Fencing Team opened at Alumni Gymnasium April 22 when E. G. Hawley, captain of the 1924 team won the Foils championship by defeating all comers. R. F. Hertzberg '23, captain of last year's team was runner-up in the matches but resigned in favor of R. J. Misch '25. In the sabre bouts held April 23, Hertzberg won with a perfect score of six victories, Misch following with five victories and being defeated only by Hertzberg. The tournament was concluded, April 24 with Misch in first place, Hawley and Hertzberg tied for second place, and E. T. Selig '24, in fourth place.
