A number of the 1925 brethren have started out in the world by going over to the other side of it. Lee Jamison is with the American Consulate in Cologne, Germany. We don't know just what he does with himself, but his only complaint is that he's too far from Lucky Strikes and football games.

Buck Jones was last heard from in Naples, Italy. Besides a few of the fellows that are studying in England, Heine Leffingwell is investigating Spain and the Spanish language at the University of Madrid.

Chet Bolles is in the glove business with Fownes Brothers of New York. At present he is located in Gloversville, N. Y., but expects to sail for Germany after Christmas to spend three or four weeks there on business.

Hank Bjorkman has been out in the mines of Manitoba. He turned up in Hanover the week before the Harvard game, and joined the coaching staff for a few days. He went down to Boston with the team, acted as linesman during the game, and wrote a couple of colums for the Sunday issue of the Boston Herald, telling what he thought about it. Hank will be in the East a while before going back to his Western mines.

Lyle McKown and Bob Borwell were both in an insurance school in Hartford during the summer.

Bud Petrequin is in the paper business in Cleveland, his home stamping ground.

Ralph Shineman is yard master in Albany for the New York Central Railroad.

Charlie Comerford is teaching modern languages and coaching baseball and basketball at the Abbott School for boys in Farmington, Maine.

Larry Leavitt is in the same line, being a coach and instructor at St. George's School in Newport, R. I.

Frank Kennedy writes that he is in the brokerage business on that well known street, Broadway.

Four more engagements of '25 men have been announced recently. Paul Hommeyer is engaged to Miss Grace Bishop Hoagland of Peoria, 111. Miss Hoagland is a graduate of Wells College.

E. F. Learnard is engaged to Miss Mabel Lyman Richardson of Needham, Mass.

Clif Hill's engagement to Miss Jean Westerfield of Upper Montclair, N. J., has also been announced. Miss Westerfield is a member of the class of 1927 at Smith Collage.

Steve Chase, Jr., is engaged to Miss Isabelle Wakelin Urban, daughter of Professor and Mrs. W. M. Urban of Hanover. Miss Urban is a senior at Smith College.

Alpha Kappa Kappa, medical fraternity, announced among its recent pledges Harry Crawford, Harry Savage, Win Edgerly, and E. L. Stebbins. All of these classmates are in the medical school at Hanover.

Ben Werntz is reporting for the Press in Cleveland. He has been covering the criminal court and working nine hours a day, six days a week, and half the Sundays. Cleveland must be having as much trouble as Chicago.

Harry Griffith is also in Cleveland, working for the Van Sweringen real estate company.

A couple of other boys in the real estate game—and not in Florida—are Gardner Howe and Len Larson. Gardner is with the Hill and Stone company in Highland Park, 111. Len is with McGuire and Orr of Chicago, and is also studying law nights at the Kent school in Chicago.

Sigma Alpha announces the pedging of Gran Luten.

Walt Vom Lehn is this year president of the Dartmouth chapter of Kappa Phi Kappa, national educational fraternity, which includes in its membership many of the undergraduates who intend to take up teaching,

Lee Burgess, after trotting around Europe with Rodg Wyckoff all summer, has started in with the Studebaker Motor Company in New York City.

Charlie Graydon attended Columbia University summer school and completed his requirements for a degree. He is now working with the Elizabeth Beers Shoe Shop in New York. R. M. Oxley is attending the medical school at Yale, and Bob Warren is at Johns Hopkins pursuing the same line.

And Brother Oktavec, while we are with the Betas, has gone into the piano manufacturing business with the Laffargue Piano Company of New York city.

The football season is over, so we'll conclude this number with joyful greetings for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
