Prof. H. D. Foster has written an article in the April number of this MAGAZINE which is of great importance for all 1902 men. It is entitled "The Leeds House," and is a superb plea for the preservation of that historic building.

At a recent conference in New York city on mental hygiene and education of the State Charities Aid Association the address was delivered by Dr. A. H. Ruggles of Providence, R. I. The New York Times quoted generously from this address, which dealt with mental hygiene as a means of preventing nervous ills among colleg'e students. Arthur is consulting psychiatrist at Dartmouth College.

After years of silence, word comes that the address of E. B. Sprague is West Hartford, Vt.

The Secretary attended the highly inspiring annual meeting of the class secretaries at Hanover. The report of A. L. Priddy '15 on the Alumni Fund deserves the greatest praise. At the dinner session the speeches by President Hopkins and by Professor James Richardson were so valuable as to warrant their publication in full. It is to be hoped that the MAGAZINE will give at least extensive excerpts.
